Biography

Shanish Yadav is a Bihar Government Registered Folk Singer, Lok Gayak, Devotional Singer and Cultural Artist from Bihar, active in music since 2019. He specializes in Bihar Folk Music, Bhojpuri, Magahi, Maithili, Devotional/Bhajan, Light & Semi-Classical Music and Live Stage Performances.

He has performed in major government, cultural, tourism, youth and public events, including Bihar Diwas Cultural Program 2026 at Gandhi Maidan, Patna; Rajkiya Rajgir Malmas Mela 2026, Rajgir, Nalanda; Har Ghar Tiranga Cultural Program 2026 at Premchand Rangshala, Rajendra Nagar; and District Youth Festival Programs during 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Shanish Yadav has also participated in singing and cultural competitions and has received First Prize in Nasha Mukt Viksit Bharat Singing Competition 2026 and First Prize in Light Music College Competition 2026.
